10 Vehicles Impounded During Sobriety Checkpoint In Lemon Grove

A total of 836 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, police said.

LEMON GROVE, CA – A motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and 10 vehicles were impounded during an overnight sobriety/driver's license checkpoint in Lemon Grove, a sheriff's sergeant said Sunday.

Twenty-two citations were also issued for motorists driving with a suspended, revoked or no license during the checkpoint in the 7900 block of Broadway that began at 8:30 p.m. Saturday and ended at 1:30 a.m., said Sgt. Aaron Montan of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

A total of 836 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, Montan said.
