Issue: What Advice for Life, Career Would You Give College Grads?
The 64-year-old stand-up comic's first ever graduation speech touched on the secrets to happiness and the need for a sense of humor. He also told jokes.

Lewis Black—despite his finger-wagging, angry man schtick—was clearly touched Saturday at being asked to give the commencement address to 1,200 graduates of UCSD’s Thurgood Marshall College. It was the 64-year-old stand-up comic’s first ever graduation speech.
In a 13-minute address, Black touched on the need to cultivate a sense of humor, pursue work you have a passion for and not to equate money with success or happiness.
If you were in Black’s shoes (and robe), what advice would you give today’s college graduates? What life lessons are ones you would pass along? Share your thoughts in the comments.
