PREZ “Cul” had Dale CHAMBERLAIN lead the pledge; and PREZ “Cul” gave a fine invocation. We had a very good lunch provided by Debbie SOHL; and it’s great to have her back with us again.  Our guests today were Lee SOHL, Debbie SOHL’s Mother-In-Law, and  Marilyn JARMAN from the Lemon Grove Sheriff’s Department.  Attendance was a lot better today; and it was a pleasure having Kevin SWARTZBERG with us more regularly.   

Good show, and Happy Hanukkah which ends December 4th. The members sang “Happy Birthday to Del KAY (Dec 3rd); and all were in good voice.  Many thanks!!!  

The “Celebration Of Life” honoring  Si and Mary Lou BRUMBAUGH was held on November 30th at the Joan B. KROC Theatre 6611 University Avenue, San Diego; and it was great to see such a large crowd of friends and relatives there to honor them.  They, and their great family,  will always be in our thoughts and prayers 

There were no fines today.  The raffle today was won by PREZ “Cul”, and he pulled out a $5 White Chip.  Therefore, PREZ “Cul” will be the “Finemaster” at our next meeting. 

During a short Board Of Director’s meeting, we approved $150 for the YANA “You Are Not Alone” program which is handled by Marilyn JARMAN who will be making the Christmas Holiday very special for approximately 31 Seniors; and $25 to Debbie SOHL for the Boy Scouts Of America “Special Needs Training”. 

NOTICE:    Our next  meeting will be held on December 18th.  That’s Board Of Directors meeting day; so be there to approve some important Kiwanis business and support your club’s activities.   4th. We will be looking forward to seeing all of you in attendance; and to begin to see what we can do to get some new members and build up our fine club.

The following meeting will be held on January 8th, because the first Wednesday of the month is “New Year’s Day”.  Start the new year off right and make a concerted effort to attend the meetings regularly.  We need everyone’s enthusiastic support!

 The 4th Annual “Holiday Of Miracles Radiothon” with KYXY Radio 96.5 at RADY Childens’s Hospital; will be held on December 12th & 13th (Thursday & Friday), between 6AM – 7PM.

The “Lemon Grove UMW Holiday Dinner” will be held on December 14th (Sat) at 6:00PM, at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 3205 Washington Street, Lemon Grove.  

Adults $7, Children 12 yrs & Up $4, and Children under 12 yrs are free.
