Meeting Tuesday Night for School District's Governing Board

The Lemon Grove School District's Governing Board will meet Tuesday night at the Lemon Grove Community Center. The board meets twice a month while school is in session and begins regular meetings at 6:30 p.m., following a closed session that starts at 6:00 p.m.

Among the items on the agenda are an update on the adoption process for English Language Arts materials used by elementary and middle schools; a resolution on a potential partnership between the school district and Public Agency Retirement Services; renewals of second terms for members of the Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee; approval of a contract for removal and disposal of hazardous materials at Palm Middle School prior to installing a washer and drier in a classroom; and other budget items.
