News Reports on Growing "Welcoming City" Controversy in Lemon Grove

Welcoming Communities is a leftist propaganda effort to attract illegitimate and poorly vetted refugees and immigrants -- including illegal immigrants -- to certain cities that sign-up for the program. A city joins by passing a proclamation that appears innocuous. However, "welcoming" means you are invited to come. Progressive politicians hope to shift the balance of power in their favor by inviting illegal immigrants and refugees, who they expect eventually to become voting citizens.

The four cities in San Diego County, who have become welcoming cites are all policed by the sheriff's department. There is a reason for that. The Sheriff does not check immigration status unless there is a serious felony involved. For that reason the Welcoming Cities in San Diego County are also welcoming illegal immigrants to come and reside in the City.

Refugees from the Middle East cannot be vetted with certainty, as proven by numerous terrorist acts and terrorist plots by refugees, recently.

When Mayor Sessom says no unvetted refugees are moving to Lemon Grove, she is not speaking the truth. She has no way of knowing. Under Obama's policy of catch and release, many illegal aliens are being released into the U.S. if they can say the right words to claim to be considered to be a "refugee." Many are trained to say the right thing, before they come. They are given a court date that may be 4-5 years in the future. Most never intend to go to court, but they are legally here, until they miss the court date. These informal, prospective refugees are also welcomed to come to Lemon Grove.
