Axis in Cooperation with Rep. Swalwell host Covered CA Event
Covered CA Enrollment Event on December 7 at Axis in Cooperation with Congressman Swalwell

Confused about how to enroll in a Covered California health insurance plan? Get your questions answered by a certified enrollment counselor on Saturday, December 7, between 10 am and 1 pm, at the Covered California Open Enrollment Event hosted by Axis Community Health, in cooperation with Congressman Eric Swalwell. The event will be at Axis’s health center located at 5925 W. Las Positas Blvd., Pleasanton, 94588.
“Health insurance can be confusing,” says Paula Barriga, Community Relations Manager for Axis Community Health. “An enrollment counselor can help with the process. Consumers who miss the open enrollment window may not have another opportunity to enroll. Plus, you must have coverage in 2020 or potentially face a state tax penalty.”
The enrollment period ends January 31, 2020. However, you must enroll by December 15 for coverage starting January 1. Plans purchased during the current open enrollment period will be honored through the end of 2020.
