Back-To-School Supplies Sought For Needy Tri-Valley Kids

Donations can be delivered to Tri-Valley Haven's community building, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 3663 Pacific Ave., Livermore.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — With another school year on the way, Tri-Valley Haven is seeking community support for an ever-rising need of school supplies for local children. The nonprofit organization invites the citizens of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore to help needy Tri-Valley kids start the school year on a high note by donating backpacks, calculators and other essentials.

Since 2012, the number of children served by the Tri-Valley Haven’s back to school distribution has risen by almost 20 percent, the organization said.

Donations can be delivered to Tri-Valley Haven’s community building, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 3663 Pacific Avenue, Livermore. The last day to donate is Thursday, August 1.
