BAY AREA, CA — Showers are expected to arrive in the Bay Area late this week, though Wednesday was a warmer and sunnier day, according to the National Weather Service.
Clouds will begin to increase early Thursday, NWS forecasts. Urban areas are forecast to see a quarter- to half-inch of rain, while higher elevations and coastal ranges could see more than an inch of rain from Thursday into early Friday.
Lighter rainfall is expected late Friday into Saturday, and Monday into Tuesday, according to NWS.
