Black Friday Traffic At Livermore Outlets: Police Advisory

LIVERMORE, CA — Prepare for heavy vehicle traffic in Livermore on Black Friday as the San Francisco Premium Outlets center gets set for a 31-hour sale that starts Thanksgiving Day.

The outlets will be open from 3 p.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday; Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. But to help ease traffic, there will be offsite parking and a shuttle service to accommodate extra shoppers.

The shuttle service will run to and from additional, offsite parking at Las Positas College (3000 Campus Hill Drive), according to a Livermore Police Department Facebook post. Freeway signs will direct people to the alternative Las Positas College parking lot.

The shuttle will start three hours before the outlets open and continue for three hours after stores close.

The LPD is encouraging shoppers to take the shuttle, use public transportation or carpool to relieve weekend traffic congestion. Shoppers who use a rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft, should be taken to a designated drop-off area on East Jack London Boulevard, in front of the outlets.
