22-Acre Brush Fire On Patterson Pass Road In Livermore Contained

The blaze, which was reported early Friday evening, was quickly doused by crews.

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters working to contain a brush fire on Patterson Pass Road in Livermore made quick work Friday. The Mid Fire was reported at 12020 Patterson Pass Rd. at 5:36 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application. Just before 7 p.m., Cal Fire reported the 22-acre blaze was contained.

Crews will remain on scene for several hours to mop up and check for hot spots.

As of 7 p.m., Patterson Pass Road, just east of Flynn Road, was closed in both directions. According to the CHP, the roadway is expected to be closed for two to three hours.

The California Highway Patrol, Cal Fire, Alameda County and Livermore-Pleasanton fire departments all responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
