CHP Reopens I-580 Lanes After Injury Crash Near Altamont Pass
The Sig-alert was cancelled just after 10 a.m. and all lanes are now open.

ALTAMONT PASS, CA — All lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 580 near the Altamont Pass reopened Friday morning after a multi-vehicle wreck spread debris all over the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 7:40 a.m. near the West Grant Line Road off-ramp, CHP officials said.
Initial reports indicated a vehicle left the highway, went up a hill, then came through a field and crashed through a fence back onto the highway, hitting a big-rig, according to CHP Offer Tyler Hahn.

An ambulance was called but the CHP did not immediately provide information about the number or extent of injuries. A dog was also injured in the crash.
All lanes reopened as of shortly after 9 a.m.
