The workshop will begin with remarks from City Councilmember Gina Bonanno, who will share her views on the opportunities and challenges we face addressing climate change in Livermore. Then, City staff will provide an overview of the Climate Action Plan. Participants will learn about the planning process and how it aims to address other critical issues, including racial equity, economic recovery, and resilience.

In the second half of the workshop, attendees will join small group discussions to review some of the draft strategies and actions. Project team members will guide these discussions to get feedback on how the City can achieve its ambitious climate goals and focus on improving how we experience our transportation, waste, and energy systems at the same time.
