Crash On I-580 Prompts Sig-Alert: CHP

LIVERMORE, CA — The California Highway Patrol investigated a minor injury collision on westbound Interstate 580 near Greenville Road in Livermore Saturday. The crash, which involved two vehicles, was reported at 11:19 a.m. and prompted the CHP to issue a Sig-alert.

Traffic was heavy on the busy freeway while officers worked to clear the road. The alert was lifted just after 2 p.m. No other information is available.

The Livermore Police Department also warned residents to expect heavy traffic around Livermore's San Francisco Premium Outlets and on I-580 over the Memorial Day weekend.
