Deacon Dave's Annual Christmas Display Opens Friday
We have tips for the best nights to visit to avoid long lines. Do you plan to visit?

LIVERMORE, CA — One of the biggest holiday light displays in the Tri-Valley area opens Friday for the 2018 holiday season. Every December, thousands of people from all over the Bay Area travel to visit Deacon Dave's House of the Dove in Livermore.
The popular lights display, which has a new theme each year, is set up in Dave Rezendes' front yard. The journey to Deacon Dave's has been an East Bay tradition for more than three decades. Organizers try to add a few more lights to the display each year and encourage visitors to guess how many lights are used in the festive display.
There is no cost to visit and lines can get long so they recommend visiting on Mondays or Tuesdays. The display is closed during inclement weather. Check the status of the display and Santa's scheduled stops by visiting Deacon Dave on Facebook. Deacon Dave's is located at 352 Hillcrest Avenue in Livermore.
