Eastbound I-580 Slated For Overnight Closure Near Altamont Pass
Motorists should expect delays and either allow for extra travel time or use alternate routes.
TRI-VALLEY, CA — Eastbound Interstate Highway 580 between North Flynn and Grant Line roads near the Altamont Pass will be closed from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday for sign installation, according to Caltrans officials.
The closure will allow crews to install a new overhead sign structure for the I-580 repaving project and detours will be in place.
