Mountain Fire Burns 30 Acres Near Livermore
Smoke from the 'Mountain Fire' spread to nearby Mountain House.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Firefighters extinguished a brush fire in Alameda County Friday morning. The Mountain Fire, which was reported near Grant Line and Mountain House roads just before 7 a.m., burned about 30 acres, according to Cal Fire.
Fire officials said smoke from the blaze spread to nearby Mountain House. Both Cal Fire and Alameda County Fire Department crews worked to knock down the blaze.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, according to Cal Fire. No other information is available.
