LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a small brush fire in Livermore Tuesday evening. The blaze, which burned about five acres, was reported in the 6400 block of Collier Canyon Road just after 5 p.m, according to fire officials.
Alameda County, Livermore-Pleasanton, Cal Fire and Camp Parks fire departments responded to the fire. The California Highway Patrol provided traffic control in the area during the firefighting efforts.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to fire officials.

View this post on InstagramOn Tuesday, May 28th at 5:06PM, Alameda County firefighters, and firefighters from Cal Fire, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department and Camp Parks responded to a vegetation fire on the 6400 block of Collier Canyon Road in Livermore. The fire was contained at approximately 4-5 acres within 90 minutes of firefighters arriving at the scene. One ACFD Dozer and 1 Cal Fire Dozer were instrumental in containing the slow moving fire in steep terrain. There were no reports of injuries. The Alameda County Sheriffs Office Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Team and Paramedics Plus also responded.
