Freaky ‘Frightmare Home Haunt’ Donations Benefit Food Bank
The haunted attraction is free to visit but donations of canned food are encouraged.

LIVERMORE, CA — Brave souls and adrenaline junkies can get their annual fear fix while also giving back to those in need when they visit Frightmare Home Haunt. For the fifth year in a row, the popular Livermore haunted house will open on Oct. 26 and 27 between 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Halloween from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Proprietors said a special 'Lights on Tour' is scheduled on Oct. 27 from 1 p.m to 4 p.m. for those who are scared of things that go bump in the night. The haunted attraction is free to visit.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring canned food to donate to the Open Heart Kitchen, which helps feed those in need in the Tri-Valley community. Frightmare is located at 697 Sonoma Ave. in Livermore. Visit Frightmare Home Haunt on Facebook to get a preview of the monsters lurking inside.
