Families - bring your kids' bikes and helmets -- or we will provide them.
Bike East Bay’s certified instructors will lead skill-building activities and safety tips for kids in grades 3–6 accompanied by a parent. Features a mock city course, skills building, and walking and bike instruction. Skills taught include: How to Perform a Bicycle Safety Check, Proper Helmet Fitting, Proper Starting and Stopping, Signaling and Communication, Shifting Gears, Scanning Ahead, Shoulder Checking, and Obstacle Avoidance.
