Funeral Services Planned For Rockwell "Rocky" John Darbee

LIVERMORE, CA — Rockwell (Rocky) John Darbee born April 9, 1946 passed away at home on March 8, 2017 with his daughter, son in-law, & grandchildren by his side. He was an avid marathon runner and mountain climber.

His quirky sense of humor & bright personality will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, John & Jeannette; big sister Ann; and his beloved wife that he adored for over 30 years Shirley Darbee.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Burruss-Casado (Mariano); grandchildren he raised as his own Preston Sherman & Darbee Jeannette Sherman (Alex Newman); stepsons Richard III (Priscilla) and Doug (Della) Burruss; Grandchildren Brianna (Erica), Andrew (Amber), Dillon (Silvia), Amanda Burruss, Austin Salazar, Ashley Casado-Graham (David), Kaitlyn Coughran, and four great-grandchildren, and his niece, Lisa-Brown-Polson.

Services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00p.m. at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton.
