Huey Overhead: Helicopter Makes Landing At Las Positas College

LIVERMORE, CA — A Huey helicopter will land at Los Positas College in Livermore on Thursday to help celebrate Veterans Day, which is Monday.

College officials said the aircraft will land at 10 a.m. in parking lot B at the college at 3000 Campus Hill Drive.

Veterans can enjoy a free lunch at noon and at 1 p.m., author Terry Burgess will speak. Burgess is the author of "When Our Blue Star Turned Gold," which chronicles the life of his family after his son Staff Sgt. Bryan A. Burgess died in combat in Afghanistan.
