LARPD Public Meeting Set For Marlin Pound Park
The meeting will give Livermore citizens an opportunity to receive an update on current projects, provide feedback, & make suggestions.

From LARPD: The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at Marlin A. Pound Park, 2010 Bluebell Drive.
With the theme of "How Can Our Parks Serve You Better?" the meeting will give Livermore citizens an opportunity to receive an update on current LARPD projects, provide feedback on any local park issues, make suggestions regarding Marlin A. Pound Park and any other District facility or program, and to become acquainted with the LARPD Board of Directors and the General Manager. A representative from the Livermore Police Department has been invited to answer any questions.
LARPD provides parks, recreation programs, recreation facilities and open space for a 244-square-mile area of east Alameda County, including Livermore.The public is encouraged to attend the meeting.In other District news, the regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting for Wednesday, July 12, has been canceled. In addition to the July 19meeting in the park, the next Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Ave.
