Showers Pass Over Tri-Valley
Though showers were expected Tuesday, dry weather and warmer temperatures are expected later in the week, weather officials forecast.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — Weather officials forecast light rain in the Bay Area Tuesday, with rain first reaching the North Bay by mid-morning and spreading south through the afternoon.
Most areas will see up to a half-inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service, with up to an inch of rain in the North Bay and Santa Cruz mountains.
Weather should warm up and stay dry later in the week. No rain is expected from Wednesday to Friday, weather officials forecast.

Later this week Bay Area temperatures will likely be in the 60s, in most parts of the region. If clouds remain low, Tri-Valley could see temperatures in the 50s, according to NWS.
