Livermore Cooling Center Still Open
Visit the center beginning at noon. Water will be provided.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Cooling Center will remain open amid triple-digit heat.
The cooling center at the Robert Livermore Community Center (4444 E. Ave.) will be open noon to 5 p.m. Friday, and from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone who wishes to come must wear a face covering and will be subject to a temperature check at the door, the city said. Capacity will be limited. Stay at home if you're sick, officials said.

The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District urges the public to check on neighbors who may be vulnerable.
Call 211 to check the status of the cooling centers. The public may also call 925-373-5700 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with questions on Livermore's cooling center.
