Livermore Man Arrested On Possession Of Child Pornography

Police detectives found more than 70 images of child pornography, the police report said.

A Livermore resident was arrested on Thursday for being in possession of child pornography.

On October 24, 2:30 pm, Livermore Police arrested 44-year-old Jason Erik Sherman at his residence, Livermore Police said.

Two days prior to his arrest, detectives from the Livermore a Police Department obtained and executed a search warrant on Sherman’s residence, the police report said.

According to Livermore Police, the search warrant was a result of an extensive police investigation into allegations that Sherman possessed child pornography.

Police detectives found more than 70 images of child pornography, the report said.

Sherman was arrested and transported to Santa Rita Jail without incident, police said.
