Livermore Police Arrest Burglary Suspect
They are believed to have fraudulently used credit cards to purchase items.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police have arrested an Antioch resident after a string of theft-related crimes, officers said.
Car burglaries, car thefts and fraudulent credit card use were reported Feb. 22, police said in a statement. Police identified a suspect after tracking down a car they believed to be involved in the thefts and looking into its owner.
The Antioch resident was on parole for theft-related crimes, police said. An officer sat down with the suspect and his parole officer.

That meeting led to the man's arrest, police said. Police tracked down stolen property and items bought using the stolen credit cards, and began to return the items to their owners last week.
