Livermore State Of The City Planned Next Week

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Mayor Bob Woerner will deliver his first State of the City address next week in a virtual event.
The annual event, hosted by the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce, will be held at the Wine Country Virtual Event June 24, the organization announced.
Woerner is expected to discuss the following topics, according to the chamber.

- Efforts to revitalize downtown.
- Efforts to provide housing at all income levels.
- Livermore's economy.
- Transportation projects in Livermore and surrounding areas.
- Public safety in Livermore.
- The city's Community Asset Management Program, Climate Action Plan and Equity and Inclusion Working Group.
Tickets are $25 for Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce members and $30 for nonmembers. For another $20, a lunch option is available for pickup on the morning of the event from Garre Cafe.
