Livermore Vintners, Tracy-Based Brewery Win State Awards

LIVERMORE, CA — With the California State Fair coming up July 12-28 in Sacramento, judges have been busy tasting and testing some of California’s best agricultural products for the coveted annual “Best of Show” awards, and two Livermore wineries have been honored along with a brewery in nearby Tracy.

In the vintner category, the "Best of Show Red" went to Concannon Vineyard in the Livermore Valley for its Reserve, while the "Best of Show White" was awarded to Livermore Valley-based Las Positas Vineyards for its 2018 Estate Verdelho. The "Brewery of the Year" award went to Tracy-based Morgan Territory.

The awards were part of the "California's Best Wine, Beer, Cheese, and Olive Oil" 2019 competition, which recognized all winners at the State Capitol on June 27.
