Livermore's Memorial Day Remembrance
Livermore's Memorial Day Remembrance event is scheduled for Monday, May 31 at 11 a.m.

LIVERMORE, Calif. – On Monday, May 31, 2021, the City of Livermore, Livermore Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7265, and American Legion Post 47 are co-hosting a Memorial Day Remembrance at Stockmen's Park to remember and honor those who have died in service to the nation. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and will feature static vehicle displays, and comments from Mayor Bob Woerner, a representative from the California State Guard, and the Livermore Stockmen's Rodeo Association. Following the event, Amador Valley Quilts of Valor will present a number of veterans with a Quilt of Valor.

COVID-19 guidelines are to be observed. According to Alameda County Public Health, which is aligned with the California Department of Public Health, face coverings are required by anyone over 2 years of age when attending crowded outdoor events.
The event will be livestreamed on the City's Facebook page and available on the City's YouTube channel after.
