Livermorium IPA Released As Part Of SF Beer Week
Livermore-centric craft beer gives a nod to the chemical element number 116.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermorium IPA, the first Livermore-only collaboration beer to be brewed involving all of the Livermore breweries, was recently released as part of SF Beer Week. The Livermore-centric beer, named after the famous chemical element number 116, was first brewed at Shadow Puppet Brewing Company and eventually included Altamont Beer Works, Eight Bridges Brewing, and Working Man.
The craft brew was featured during the free Livermore Downtown Beer Crawl & Food Drive hosted by the Livermore Valley Craft Beer Foundation Thursday night. Event organizers collected canned food which will be donated to the Alameda County Food Bank to help those in need and families affected by the historic partial government shutdown.
Livermorium is available at the Shadow Puppet Tasting Room, in addition to a number of restaurants and tap houses around the Bay Area. Those interested in tasting the beer can stop by the Shadow Puppet tasting room on Saturday.
