Man Injured In Motorcycle Crash On Mines Road

The man was flown by helicopter to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center with major injuries, firefighters said.

LIVERMORE, CA — A man suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon in a solo motorcycle accident on Mines Road about 20 miles southeast of Livermore in rural Alameda County, Alameda County Fire officials said on social media Sunday.

The accident was reported about 1:15 p.m. near mile marker 17 on Mines Road. The victim, an adult male, was treated by paramedics at the scene and then flown by CalStar helicopter to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center with major injuries, firefighters said. No additional information was available late Sunday night.
