No Injuries, Property Damage Caused In Livermore Vegetation Fire
Firefighters from three departments limited the fire to 1.7 acres near Altamont Pass and Goeken Road before property damage could be done.
LIVERMORE, CA – No one was injured, and no property sustained damage in a vegetation fire that started in unincorporated Livermore early Monday afternoon, CalFire officials said on Tuesday.
Firefighters from the Alameda County Fire Department, Livermore-Pleasanton and Cal Fire were called to the area of Altamont Pass and Goeken Road just before 1 p.m. on Monday, officials said. Once there, crews found between a half-acre and acre burning and were able to contain the fire to 1.7 acres, a CalFire spokesman said.

There was no damage to any of the structures which were in the area of the fire as crews were able to extinguish the fire within a short amount of time to contain the fire to the area before it could reach any of the nearby structures, officials said.
