Police Nab Suspected Nob Hill Robbers
Four people detained after reported robbery at Nob Hill Foods.

Police detained four people in connection to a suspected Nob Hill Foods robbery Tuesday night, Livermore Police Sgt. Jason Boberg said.
At around 9:42 p.m. police received a report of a robbery at the grocery store on 919 East Stanley Boulevard.
Police were told two black males entered the business and took off with items after shoving a person to the floor and using other "bodily force," Boberg said.

Two other people in the vehicle were also detained by police.
Police found numerous retail items, gift cards and toiletries in the vehicle that were reported stolen from the business, Boberg said.
Officials also said witnesses played a key role in detaining suspects by providing descriptions of the robbers and vehicle.
"Far too often suspects in these cases get away," Boberg said. "In this case witnesses provided valuable information that led to arrests."
