BAY AREA, CA — It's been a rainy couple of days in Northern California, with parts of the Bay Area getting nearly an inch of rain in the past 24 hours, according to the National Weather Service. And we're not out of the woods yet. According to the NWS, light showers Wednesday afternoon will give way to steadier rain this evening, spreading south of San Francisco overnight. Rain will remain a possibility through Friday, although the showers should be light, according to the NWS.
