Red Flag Warning Issued For Much Of East Bay
Weather conditions will be conducive to the spread of wildfire Saturday. See which areas are affected.

BAY AREA, CA — The National Weather Service has upgraded a fire weather watch to a red flag warning for the East Bay hills and mountains, and North Bay mountains.
The red flag warning indicates that the dry, warm, windy weather forecast to occur would be liable to quickly spread wildfire.
The warning is in effect from 9 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Monday.

Residents can expect to see 35 to 45 mph winds. Gusts of up to 50 mph are expected in the highest elevations, according to NWS.
Previously, NWS had issued a fire weather watch beginning 11 a.m. Saturday.
