See Smoke Near LLNL? Don't Panic, Firefighters Say
Here's when you might notice smoke in the area Monday, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

LIVERMORE, CA — Alameda County firefighters planned to conduct a prescribed burn from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Site 300.
This controlled burn will be conducted in attempt to reduce the risk of wildfire spreading to and from the area, firefighters said. If roads in the area are impacted by smoke, traffic management will be in effect and traffic will be held until it's safe for cars to pass.
The controlled burn will be conducted in accordance with San Joaquin Valley Air Management District and Bay Area Air Quality Management District rules.
