
BAY AREA, CA - Bike riders and pedestrians in the Bay Area will get a treat this summer with extended bike path hours on the Bay Bridge.
The news hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily went into effect Saturday and will be in effect until Labor Day.
The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Bike Path runs adjacent to the new east span, according the Bridge officials, allowing riders and pedestrians access to one of the Bay's many beautiful landmarks.
