Upcoming Meeting on Springtown Open Space Plan

The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District will hold a public meeting on Springtown Open Space conceptual plan.

LIVERMORE, CA - Livermore Area Recreation and Park District: The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District will hold an additional public meeting as part of process for the Springtown Open Space Conceptual Plan.Set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the Robert Livermore Community Center (4444 East Ave.), the meeting will present two conceptual designs for the public.

This provides an additional opportunity to inform residents on the process and allow attendees to review plans and give input that will then be presented to the LARPD Board of Directors and the Livermore City Council.The City has asked the Park District to lead the Springtown Open Space Conceptual Plan process, and LARPD hired RRM Design Group to collect information on the site, hold public meetings, prepare conceptual designs for public review and develop a final design recommendation.

The plan includes the City-owned portion of the closed golf course; it excludes the Springtown Association's clubhouse, swimming pools and parking lot.The two conceptual designs will be available online at www.larpd.org<http://www.larpd.org> by July 26.
