Vote: Livermore In The Running For 'All-America City' 2021 Award
Voting is underway for the competition's Cultural Arts Showcase Award. Here's how you can show some love for Livermore.

LIVERMORE, CA — Voting is underway for the All-America City Cultural Arts Showcase Award competition and the city of Livermore is vying for the title.
Livermore was one of 20 U.S. cities — and the only in California — in the running for the 2021 All-America City title. As part of the effort, the city, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, and Las Positas College jointly submitted an application to win the cultural arts award.
When it comes to the cultural arts award, Livermore is up against cities such as: El Paso, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Richmond, Virginia; and Kansas City. Competitors' submissions include the "Suncity" music video from El Paso native and R&B sensation Khalid, outdoor public art in Wheat Ridge, Colorado and Southfield, Michigan's Kimmie Horne Jazz Festival.

Livermore's offerings include the Livermore Shakespeare Festival, the school district's Element 116 jazz band and the Livermore Poet Laureate.
