Wente’s Restaurant Reopens As Vineyard Table & Tasting Lounge
The casual eatery offers "shareable plates" along with the Wente Vineyards' selection of wines.
LIVERMORE, CA — Several months after The Restaurant at Wente closed for a total makeover, the vineyard's popular restaurant has reopened as the Vineyard Table & Tasting Lounge. The eatery closed in March and debuted their new concept in June.
The restaurant's menu will change periodically but will emphasize "seasonality and shareable plates, large and small, that pair seamlessly with Wente Vineyards' selection of wines offered by the glass or bottle," according to a release.
The casual dining experience also offers guests the opportunity to enjoy "flexible seating areas" inside and out.

"We put a lot of energy into growing our grapes and producing our wines, and we wanted to put that same passion into the Vineyard Table & Tasting Lounge," says Niki Wente, Fifth Generation Winegrower & Viticulturist. "With the transformation of the restaurant, we wanted to update the overall food and wine experience for guests, elevating the way guests enjoy our wines and farm to table fare."
The Wente Vineyards were founded in 1881. It is the oldest, family-owned winery in the country.
The Vineyard Table & Tasting Lounge is located at 5050 Arroyo Rd. in Livermore.
