'The World Is A Better Place With Him In It': Livermore Hero

LIVERMORE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Steve Kau, who nominated Mony Nop of Livermore.

Hero's job: Volunteer

Reason for recognition: He is active in the community first when he was in law enforcement, then as a local business person who help launched a couple of non-profits as well as efforts to help those in need throughout the year
