'Yappy Hour' Series Returns To Tri-Valley, Benefits Homeless Pets

LIVERMORE, CA — Leash up your pooch and grab some friends for this summer’s hottest doggie date nights across the Tri-Valley. Valley Humane Society’s 2019 "Yappy Hour" series kicks off this weekend and promises fun and friendly rivalry as six local venues compete to see who can raise the most money to help homeless dogs and cats. Activities will vary at each location, and VHS swag and raffle prizes will be available at each venue. Dogs are welcome at each location.

We will be celebrating the special, limited release of Rusty’s Rascally Red at this Yappy Hour! Road Dogs food truck will be serving up their delicious fare from 3-7 p.m. Live music from Sunny and The Black Pack begins at 5:30 p.m. Shop for your pet at Dashing Dogs Boutique, or grab some Yappy Hour swag for people and enter the raffle. Three-time Yappy Hour champ and current title holder Three Sheets is once again in the game, and they are partnering with Lagunitas to create a fun time. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Valley Humane Society. Dogs on leash are welcome; open to people age 21+ only.
