2 Rescued From Long Beach House Fire

Firefighters responded early Saturday to a fire on East Hullett Street and had it out by 4:40 a.m.

LONG BEACH, CA — Firefighters rescued two people and paramedics rushed one of them to an area hospital in stable condition from a fire Saturday morning at a two-story home in Long Beach.

Firefighters dispatched at 4:18 a.m. to the 300 block of East Hullett Street had the fire out at 4:40 a.m., according to a dispatcher at the Long Beach Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
