- To counteract family poverty of single-parent households in the 90813 ZIP code, LB will launch a guaranteed income pilot program. Five-hundred residents will receive $500 a month for 12 months. These families also receive free childcare and vocational training. (MSN.com)
- The Global Time Attack Pro Championship will run at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach this year. The goal is to set the fastest time on the circuit. Race fans will watch members of the Unlimited, Limited, and Street classes compete. (GPLB)
