- Follow-up! The 23-year-old suspect in Saturday’s Pike shooting will be arraigned on July 13. There’s no information about what’s happening to the juveniles with him. (My News LA)
- Positive COVID-19 tests in LB are double what they were 14 days ago. On June 18, the rate was 1%. By June 29, it was 2.1%. Unvaccinated residents make up the majority of cases. (LB Post)
- It’s mosquito season! The LB Health Department warns that you have to do your part to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. (LB Dept. of Health)
- Hate crimes in LB are down! The Attorney General’s office released its annual report and found that there were 18 reported hate crimes in LB, which is down from 23 the year before. (“Hate Crime in California 2020”)
