Christmas Toy Drive - for Annual Give-Away by COA Long Beach

More than 1,500 new, upwrapped toys to be distributed on Dec. 14 to children age 16 and younger in Long Beach and surrounding communities.

Christian Outreach in Action, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping low-income and homeless families and individuals in our community, announces its Christmas Toy Drive to prepare for its toy give-away on Dec. 14.

Donate a new, unwrapped toy for the event - your gift may be the only one some children receive this holiday season.

  • Newborn to 3 years: educational toys, Sesame Street toys, dolls, trucks (Tonka type)
  • 4 to 7 years: education toys, Duplo or building kits, dress-up kits, board games, sports equipment.
  • 8 to 12 years: Lego sets, jewelry or craft kits.
  • 13 to 16 years: Gift card for food / local clothing stores (e.g. Target, Walmart, Starbucks, In-N-Out Burger, etc.); age-appropriate items please.
  • All Ages: Soccer balls, footballs and basketballs.

The annual COA Christmas Party and toy give-away is Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m., and toys will be distributed free for children age 16 and younger.
