Churriño Introduces Pride-Themed Churros In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA — Churro dessert shop Churriño in Long Beach is marking Pride Month in June with a new flavor, "…Oh My Lover!" The made-to-order special features three bite-sized churros filled with layers of lemon custard and chocotella, and topped with strawberries, coconut flakes, a drizzle of condensed milk and a sprinkle of edible gold flakes.
The shop, at 345 The Promenade N., also is selling limited-edition, holographic Pride stickers, at $4.95 each or two for $7.95, with 20 percent of proceeds being donated to The LGBTQ Center in Long Beach. Pick up in-store or order online, and use code “PRIDE” for free shipping.
The "…Oh My Lover!" churros are $5.95 and can be ordered online for curbside or in-store pickup, or through third-party delivery through June.

Churriño Gourmet Dessert was founded in 2017 by two college friends — one from Brazil and one from Burma — who shared the dream of opening a dessert shop.
