Permanent ClinicsMoving forward, the City will offer the following permanent neighborhood clinics:

  • A new, centrally located clinic at the Long Beach Community College Pacific Coast College (PCC), Parking Lot 1, at the corner of Orange Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway. The site will now open five days a week, with new daytime and existing evening hours Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    • Additionally, four park vaccination sites will be offered on a continual basis to the community:

  • Seaside Park (1401 Chestnut Ave.), Mondays beginning July 12, 10 a.m. to noon. 
  • MacArthur Park (1321 E. Anaheim St.), Tuesdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Admiral Kidd Park (2125 Santa Fe Ave.), Mondays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Houghton Park (6301 Myrtle Ave.), Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Cabrillo High School (2001 Santa Fe Ave.) will continue to serve the public on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    Mobile Clinics in JulyThe City will be offering several new mobile vaccination clinic options through the month of July as follows:

  • Granada Beach (5000 E. Ocean Blvd.), Tuesdays, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Second Street (5200 2nd St.), Wednesdays, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • McDonald's (2599 Long Beach Blvd.), Tuesday, July 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Heartwell Park (5801 E. Parkcrest St.), Wednesdays, July 7 and July 28, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Thursday, July 15, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Junipero Beach (1 Junipero Ave.), Saturdays, July 10 and July 31, 9:30 a.m. to noon.
  • St. Lucy's Catholic Church (2301 Santa Fe Ave.), Sunday, July 11, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • El Dorado Park (7550 E. Spring St.), Wednesday, July 14, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Recreation Park (4900 E. 7th St.), Saturday, July 17, 9:30 a.m. to noon.
  • Colorado Lagoon (5200 E. Eliot St.), Wednesday, July 21, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Thursdays, July 8 and July 29, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Belmont Pool (4320 E. Olympic Plaza), Saturday, July 24, 9:30 a.m. to noon.

    • Effective immediately, the City will discontinue the mobile vaccination clinics at Grant Elementary School and Washington Middle School.

    The City is continuing to encourage community members to get the COVID-19 vaccine, particularly as the Health Department has discovered that the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus is present in Long Beach and is of grave concern to unvaccinated individuals. There are a variety of ways eligible people can receive vaccines in Long Beach. For information about the City’s vaccination locations and hours of operation, visit longbeach.gov/vaxlb. Appointments are not required, but people interested in scheduling an appointment may do so by visiting the State’s vaccination portal, MyTurn.ca.gov, or by calling the California COVID-19 Hotline at 833.422.4255.

    More than 353,000 vaccines have been administered in Long Beach to date. Identifications are not required to receive a vaccine and all vaccines are administered free of charge and have been provided directly by the federal government.
