Join Fuego For Father's Day ‘BBQ, Beer, Bourbon & Blues Brunch’
Live blues and booze will have Father's Day guests in the spirit while spending time with family and friends in Fuego's waterfront patio
Dear old dad – that guy with the corny jokes, who falls asleep on the couch, who coached us in little league and texts in all caps – it’s his day. And Fuego at Hotel Maya is cooking up a special “BBQ, Beer, Bourbon & Blues Brunch” for Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, along with Live Blues music performed by Brophy Dale Trio from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The waterfront Latin-infused Fuego is one of Long Beach’s most popular restaurants and boasts fantastic food and views from the Queen Mary to Downtown Long Beach on its outdoor patio.
“Give dad a break from being the grill master with our traditional BBQ specials like Kielbasa, ribs, chicken and fish that pack a tasty punch of Fuego’s Latin style,” said Greg Guthrie, General Manager at Hotel Maya - a DoubleTree by Hilton. “And treat dad to a cold beer or bourbon specialty drinking while keepin’ it loose for an afternoon of live blues on our patio.”

Father’s Day meals begin with appetizers like the Chilled Seafood Molcajete with Jumbo Gulf shrimp, Alaskan King crab legs New Zealand smoked mussels, Oysters Horseradish aioli, and cocktail sauce served in a traditional Mexican dish; the Tabla de Quessos, a Chef’s selection of three artisanal Mexican cheeses with crackers and a fig marmalade; and a Lobster Mac & Cheese with morsels of lobster, aged cheddar Guajillo cheese sauce, and chili spiced crushed tortilla.
