LBUSD: Summer School Starts June 28

Summer School begins June 28 in the Long Beach Unified School District. In grades K-8, the school district offers the Supports, Enrichment & Accelerated Learning (SEAL) program that includes reading, writing, math, science, poetry, drawing, painting, dual immersion language instruction and more. The SEAL session continues through July 23. See the video accompanying this article for more information, and contact your local elementary, middle or K-8 school for additional details.

High schools will offer both credit recovery and original credit opportunities. These classes continue through July 30. More details, including a list of course offerings by schools, is available on this High School Summer School web page, and high school students can contact their counselor for additional information.
